This og Japanese Kabusecha has a unique rich flavor and light yellow-green hue.

The leaves are sourced from the Okumidori cultivar and have been shaded for 20 days to yield a sweet yet light and refreshing cup of tea.

Enjoy mild astringency and no bitterness with every sip.

Produced in limited quantities from the Tenryu farm in Shizuoka, Japan.

Instruction
For 1 serving
(1) Amount of tea leaves: 1 tsp (4g) (0.14oz)
(2) Add 200ml (6.76oz) hot water 80℃ (176℉)
(3) Steeping time: 50 seconds

Characteristics
OKUMIDORI is a hybrid of YABUKITA and SHIZAUOKA ZAIRAI 16, known for its intense UMAMI and cool flavor, that make it ideal for GYOKURO and MATCHA.
Covering the tea plants for 20 days prior to harvesting is KABUSE, a process that enhances its UMAMI.

Special Notes
This green-tinted tea boasts the distinct flavor of early-harvest KABUSECHA tea leaves.

The story behind of production

The tea is crafted using a method of medium steaming known as "CHUMUSHI".
The result is tea color that is a light yellow with a greenish hue representing the characteristic Kabuse tea style.
The tea leaves themselves are dark green, an indication of their OKUMIDORI origin.
