This premium blend of og green tea combines the best harvests from Isagawa village, providing a profound flavor with a hearty astringency and bitterness.

Gold Prize recipient of Shizuoka Tea Awards, this tea is made with Yabukita cultivar and medium-steaming process for a unique, rustic aroma.

Imported from Shizuoka, Japan with a limited annual production of 100kg.

Instruction:

For 1 serving
(1) Amount of tea leaves: 1 tsp (4g) (0.14oz)
(2) Add 200ml (6.76oz) hot water 80℃ (176℉)
(3) Steeping time: 50 seconds

Characteristics

From the desirable YABUKITA cultivar, OG SENCHA Premium ISAGAWA is a single origin tea. Its flavor is well-balanced, featuring a pleasant aroma and a delightful UMAMI hue.

Special Notes

The best harvests from the organic village of ISAGAWA were collected, combined, and roasted to a weak finish.

This process highlights the unique flavor and strong UMAMI of the ingredients, delivering a distinctive cup with a lingering aftertaste.

The story behind of production

Produced in a traditional tea factory with a medium-steaming process, this tea is blended with Kabusecha to deliver a profound, lush, delicate flavour.

Unlike Gyokuro, it lacks an adhesive taste and has a well-balanced astringency that truly epitomizes Japanese tea.
