Instruction

Traditional Matcha for 1 tea bowl
(1) Sift Matcha Powder: 1/2 tsp (2g) (0.07oz)
(2) Add 70ml (2.37oz) hot water 80℃ (176℉)
(3) Whisk until foamy with a bamboo Chasen

Characteristics

This matcha is roasted at a low flame, creating a cereal-like aroma and an easy-to-drink taste that is perfect for even Matcha newcomers.

No greenish aroma is present.

The story behind of production

The SAEAKARI cultivar is known for its suitability for producing GYOKURO tea, due to its high levels of UMAMI-rich ingredients such as Amino Acids.

With its vibrant green hue, it gets its name from its color.

Final Roasting Master SAKUYA's Comments

This Gyokuro-type Matcha does not require roasting due to its lack of a greenish aroma, however it still possesses an intense umami flavor.

As a result, an enjoyable beverage with no harsh flavor is produced, perfect for daily consumption.
